9 Days 10 Nights Walking Safari Nairobi Ngurumani Escarpment Maji Moto Masai Mara
This Trekking Itinerary has been put together to enable trekking lovers to enjoy and get the most out of this safari. These virgin areas of Ngurumani Escarpment seldom visited by any visitors will bring peace of mind to the trekker. The array of wildlife, and undestroyed flora & and fauna of this land.
Ngurumani Escarpment lies 150 km south of Nairobi City, this is where our journey begins by trekking for more than 16 km a day for 6 days totaling nearly 100 km in total. Carrying camping gear, with Masai warriors as guides, plus a cook. Camping will be at earmarked places around Steams. Walking in this jungle among plain herbivores will be a unforgettable experience.
After breakfast Drive South to Ngurumani Escarpment Arriving in time for early lunch, after leaving the shopping center ascend the escarpment, and walk for 16 km to Njoroi where you will camp overnight, have dinner, and overnight at the camp.
After breakfast, you will move west towards Ngutoto doing 15 km or more to your next campsite, dinner, and overnight at the camp.
After early breakfast leave, Ngutoto for Morijo Carry your packed lunch and walk for 17 km to your next campsite will be at Morijo. Dinner and overnight at Morijo.
As usual, after breakfast leave Morijo and walk towards Motorok, after lunch in the bush you will continue with your walk and arrive at your campsite at Motorok for dinner and overnight.
In the morning after breakfast leave Motorok for Letukunyi walking for 15 km you will camp at Letukunyi for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast leave Letukunyi for Maji Moto walking another 16 km to Maji Moto for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast leave Maji Moto for Masai Mara arriving before lunch at one of the tented camps After lunch have an afternoon rest then at 4.00 pm go for an afternoon game drive till 6.00 pm Dinner and overnight at Simba Oryx tented Camp.
This will be a full day in the Mara going out for a full day game drive, lunch will be taken in the wild. at 4.00 p.m. return to your camp for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, leave the Mara for Nairobi to proceed to your next destination.
