This a classic East African safari route that allows travelers to experience a wide range of ecosystems, wildlife, and landscapes. Each location offers its own unique charm and opportunities for unforgettable wildlife encounters. Ideal for the months of January through March.
After breakfast leave Nairobi and be driven toward Tsavo East National Park and be transferred to Ashnil Aruba. After resting you will drive out for an afternoon game drive in the Park till dusk. Dinner and overnight at Aruba Ashnil Lodge
Tsavo East National Park offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world with large herds of dusty-red elephants, hippopotamus, Black rhinoceros, and African buffalos. In the park, the big five can be easily seen. Other animals that can also be seen in the Tsavo East are mongoose, dik, and the lesser kudu. Bird life is abundant as more than 600 species of birds have been recorded.
This will be another full day in Tsavo East with morning and afternoon game drives, dinner, and overnight at Aruba Ashnil Lodge.
After breakfast leave Tsavo East and drive toward Tsavo West, arriving in time for lunch at Kilaguni Serena Lodge. After an afternoon rest, you will go out for a game drive at 4:00 pm and thereafter at 6:30 return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Mzima spring
The Mzima spring is an oasis at the heart of red-dusty Park, this magical place is not to be missed. The pure water of the three Mzima’s pools is Filtered by the porous sponge-like rocks of the Chyulu and the Shetani lava Flow brings life to a unique ecosystem at only 40 km away from the Chyulu hills. With a daily supply of more than 250 million liters of fresh water, the pool Provides an oasis of green, and heaven for fish, birds, monkeys, and Hippos.
This will be another full day in Tsavo West with morning and afternoon game drives, dinner, and overnight at Kilaguni Serena Lodge.
After an early breakfast leaves Tsavo West driving west towards Amboseli National Park arriving in time for lunch at Serena Amboseli. Thereafter in the afternoon go for a game drive in the park, later retire to the lodge, dinner, and overnight at Amboseli Serena.
Amboseli offers some of the best opportunities to see African animals because of its vegetation around the swamps. It is home to a number of wildlife species that include the African elephant, Cape buffalo, impala, lion, cheetah, hyena, giraffe, zebra, and wildebeests among other African animals. There is also a host of Kenyan birds, both large and small, around the swamps and the adjacent land adorned by acacia woodland.
This will be another full day in Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives, dinner, and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Namanga which is a Kenya-Tanzanian border town, and begin your exploration of this wonderful country of Tanzania. You will drive to Tarangire National Park with lunch boxes. As soon as you arrive you will start your afternoon game drive before checking in at Tarangire Safari Lodge, for dinner and overnight.
This will be a full day in Tarangire, going dipper in this bushland park adorned by acacia woods and Combretum woods, searching for animals such as Leopard, Lion, Kudu, and other different mammals. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Safari Lodge.
After a morning game drive, you will go back for breakfast at 8:30, thereafter leave with lunch boxes and your belongings driving towards the Ndutu area which is part of the larger Ngorongoro Conservation area. This afternoon you will have an afternoon game drive before retiring to Lake Ndutu Safari Lodge or similar for dinner and overnight.
For the next three days, you will do game drives in this park, either going for full-day game drives or morning or afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight at Lake Ndutu Safari Lodge. Or similar Ngorongoro Conservation Area basically (Ndutu) area, which borders Serengeti National Park is widely known to be an iconic area with a spectacle of millions of wildebeest that gives birth during the month of January towards February.
The park itself is home to tree-climbing Lions. There are other animals such as leopards, Elephants, Kudu, Hyena, Ratel, honey badgers, Cheetah, and many other small mammals. The topography of the park is beautiful and the land is adorned by (Acacia etbaica) Savannah thorn, And also Acacia abyssinica, Flat top acacia. The event of calving by the wildebeests that take place in this area becomes a culmination of a long journey of thousands of kilometers to and from Masai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya which is at the northern side of the Serengeti National Park. A visit to this park in the month of January becomes a memorable event of a lifetime.
After breakfast, you will be driven to the central Serengeti, Soronera area. this area boasts a large number of leopards, large pride of lions, serval cats, caracals, and other small mammals. For the next four days, you will do game drives in Serengeti moving from one area to the other.
This morning you will drive towards the south, to Ngorongoro crater. This is the main attraction of the Ngorongoro conservation area. A large number of herbivores are found. various wildlife species are also found within the Crater which includes, Lions, Elephants, rhinos, Buffalo, Zebra Hyena, and many more.
After a game drive in the crater, you will be transferred to Lake Manyara Serena Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Early in the morning, you will be transferred to Namanga border point where you will be picked up by a Kenyan vehicle and transferred to the Airport or a hotel in Nairobi depending on your outward bound flight.
